 The area continues to benefit from significant investment, with new cafes, creative spaces, and community initiatives popping up regularly. Of particular note is the Temple Quarter regeneration project, one of the UK’s largest urban redevelopment schemes. Set to bring thousands of new homes, jobs, and a revitalised transport hub to the area, Temple Quarter will further enhance Bristol’s appeal for both business and leisure visitors—and St Anne’s is right on the doorstep. Temple Meads will also gain from a new Eastern Entrance to the station and enhanced transport links. This entrance is due to open next year along with the new University Campus. 

Other more recent news, St Annes welcomed the famous Catley’s bakery HQ to St Annes. The bakery was started in lockdown and has become a local highlight with numerous branches opening across the city. 

St Annes is certainly a community, and this can be seen with the local St Annes community centre that has gone from strength to strength and now includes a City Sauna at the St Annes House. So, if you need some relaxation, it is only a 10-minute walk away.
